Blade of Civivi Baklash Knife

The blade of all Baklash Knives are drop point but have harpoon style blade with hollow grind. Baklash blade materials varies as per the models from 9Cr18Mov, 154 CM and even in Damascus style is also available.

You will find mostly satin finish on majority of G10 handles while Black stonewash blades are also available in its variants.  The blade of Civivi Baklash rides on a stainless cage stainless steel ball bearings covered with stainless steel pivot cap for fast, long lasting smooth deployment via index finger tab.

The hollow grind and spear point swedge delivers not powerful piercing but is also optimal for tactical performance. It offers different blade finish like Satin, Damascus, and Black Stonewash for the blade.

Civivi Baklash Blade Materials

The 9Cr18MOV, 154 CM and Damascus blade materials have HRC of 58 or 60  which is another factor as all these blade materials are best known for longer edge retentions * corrosion resistance.  The jimping on spine provide excellent control of the knife for fine work if needed.

9Cr18MoV steel

9Cr18Mov steel is Chinese equivalent of 440B. It’s known for decent toughness and High corrosion resistance with finer grain due to composition enhancing performance.

Damascus steel

Damascus steel offers the performance of a modern steel while delivering a unique look from the pattern welded layers and acid etched finish. Normally, available in multiple patterns because of different layers configurations. Damascus Steel gives a knife a striking and singular look. The core of this blade is 9Cr18MoV stainless steel hardened to around 60 HRC for solid cutting performance.

154CM stainless steel

154CM steel is an improved version of 440C with added molybdenum offering improved edge retention and corrosion resistance, 154 CM is also known for higher level wear resistance.
