It’s made in USA with high quality carbon steel with traction coating having perfect handle ergonomics as TOPS Knives DART (Direct Action Rescue Tool) is interviewing many field operators especially Hostage Rescue Team known as (HRT) and snipers.
The TOPS DART is well thought design made with 5160 Carbon Steel having recurved belly construction with down tilted blade.
This DART Knife makes chopping in closed corners very easy with lesser movement and energy which is required by Snipers and in Hostage Rescue Operations.
For these very reasons TOPS Knives DART is actively being used by special operations community with success.
As said earlier it was designed by Trace Rinaldi for Special Operations Community after proper research. Therefore it’s very well received by the community not only in United States but also in Europe and Canada. The Handle has Black linen Micarta handles.
The DART by TOPS Knives has full tang construction and comes with Black linen Micarta handle scales with contrasting white liners keeping the ergonomic handle grip and adding further to its robust looks.
The safety features are also kept in mind by the designer as index choil and forward guard delivers added safety combined with sections of jimping top and bottom for traction when chopping in tight places and staying hidden.
Last, the extended pommel end can be used as an impact tool and it also has hole for lanyard if needed.
Each TOPS Knives DART comes with black lined heavy Cordura Belt Sheath with leg tie.
