The micarta looks great. The build quality is very good. The action is dismal. I have other knifes of the same size blade that drop shut. This one takes 3 or 4 big shakes. Engineers? The biggest negative for me is the handle shape. The sharp contour of the bottom or heel of the knife digs sharply into your palm when opening and closing. For reference I wear a large size glove. I could not fidget with this for more than 4 or 5 reps before my palm got sore.
