The UTX-85 model has been updated and refined by Microtech. It features rounded handle faces and patches of grooves along the sides to ensure excellent grip. The firing button has been redesigned to increase surface contact for effective engagement.
The glass breaker has a ball-tip set in the trip-angle pattern base to increase its everyday carry manners. This model has a partially serrated, satin finished steel blade. The 6061-T6 aluminum handle is black anodized and outfitted with bead blast finished hardware, pocket clip, and glass breaker tip.
