Fairly heavy for its size. Round “D2” inlay shield is badly inset, and the lock release of the one I received is VERY VERY hard to actuate. Not worth the trouble of returning. Think of it as a smooth micarta, smallish D2 fixed blade, with no sheath, of course.

I’m a fan of D2 steel. It’s not stainless but it’s close. This is a really nice little lock back knife that came very sharp, well centered with an excellent back spring and strong blade lock up. The brass bolsters and liners are perfectly done and the black micarta with D2 shield make this knife an absolute bargain at CKW.
