I’ve been collecting knives for 60 years and have Cases, German Bokers, German Eye, Buck Creek, Hen and Rooster and started buying several Rough Rider imports from China. They are truly amazing knives to be a made in China with quality craftsmanship. Out of curiosity I bought this Chipaway drop point hunting knife for $8.04 just to check it out. Quality was amazing. It came with an excellent looking leather sheath in the finish on the bone handles is superb. I intend on taking it to a shop that has a hardness tester to see if the blade is in the 58 to 59 RC range. Heat treatment is not rocket science so all them made in Pakistan I think they might have perfected heat treating as the Chinese have. Personally, I’m glad I bought this little knife.

I liked the style of this knife and was a bit skeptical that it was made in Pakistan but after I received it the quality was outstanding. Fit and finish were beautiful. I’m halfway through sharpening it now and it seems like the steel might be in the 58 to 59 RC scale. The sheath that came with it is beautiful and looks out of fine leather. I’m glad I bought this knife.
