Now I have used the knife. The tungsten carbide coating applied on the blade is a thoughtless mistake. It is applied after grinding the edge, which greatly compromises its cutting ability as it comes from the factory; furthermore, the convexity of the edge is at odds with this tungsten coating, which interferes with proper resharpening, as efforts at reprofiling de edge produce a secondary microbevel that the steel does not quite like to maintain, not even when the knife is not put to any use.
