Description
The “Arditi Distruttori della Regia Aeronautica” (Translation: Royal Air Force Brave Destroyers) were an Italian battalion serving in North African during WWII. The Extrema Ratio Ordinanza 17 combat knife was made to honor them and the 17th Raiders Wing of the Italian Airforce who follows their heritage, and members carry combat daggers strapped to their sides during parade as the original destroyers did.
Designed with input from the 17th, the dagger has a double-edged blade with partial serrations and a glass breaker. The handle is durable and heavily textured for a surprising, superior grip. The fixed blade shape is an elegant design influenced by the classic European style of knifemaking. The Stormo is a special collector’s edition.
