THE SHAPE OF THE HANDLE NARROWS IN WIDTH AS IT COMES TO THE SPINE OF THE BLADE SO WHEN YOUR PALM IS OVER THE HANDLE THE REAR OF YOUR PALM IS HOLDING THE THICKER PORTION OF THE HANDLE AND THE FRONT PART OF YOUR PALM GRIPPING A MORE NARROW CIRCUMFERENCE HENCE YOU COULD LOSE GRIP ON THIS MACHINE ! THAT IS THE ONE TRUE PROBLEM WITH THIS MACHETE..
