This knife has both a large belly, a thin full flat ground blade, a pointy tip and a pronounced recurve next to the pivot. Much more versatile than it may look, but not as strong as its tanto / clip point counterparts, whose blades are thicker at the tip. If you need to cut thick ropes, you will highly appreciate its long, thin, recurve blade.

First of all, this knife is very light. It has a 5.5 inch blade, but even kids can easily swing it around like a movie.
Secondly, this knife is extremely sharp.
Probably, it is because the shape of the blade has a unique curvature.
The blade material, AUS-10A, is not as good as premium steel because AUS-8 is equivalent to 440C, so it is hardened into the improved AUS-10, but it is more than enough performance. The price is cheap and I recommend it.

The blade has a unique curve, and it cuts very well, but it’s pretty hard to open a knife with one hand.
