Finally purchased one of these Recon 1’s mainly because it came in green and I’m glad I did. The fit and finish is very good. The blade lines up between the scales exactly in the middle when closed. There’s no play in the blade when it’s locked up. The texture isn’t as abrasive as I’ve heard from reviews over the years. Compared to the sr1 this knife feels light and more practical overall. Only thing is that the blade lock is a little difficult to depress but that may change over time.
