The knife is really well done in a lot of ways – certainly in regard to fit and finish. That said, there are some design choices here I-do-not-like. The blade stock is very thick and it’s made of super tough 3V. Yet, for reasons I cannot fathom, Cold Steel decided *not* to give the Natchez Bowie a full flat grind and instead put a secondary bevel on it that must be 30°. It’s shaped less like a knife and more like an axe.
I’m going to have to regrind it. It is going to take a very long time – and it won’t be nearly as slicey as a full flat grind.
Again, other than that, it’s very well done. You will know from the pictures whether you want one or not.
