The Cold Steel Drop Forged Boot Knife was inspired by a knife design that Lynn Thompson discovered while on a research trip in Argentina. After trying out a solid steel knife from knife-maker Michal Ahchez, Lynn began experimenting on how to bring this classic fixed blade knife to a wider audience.
