Cold Steel AD15 knife is crafted from 6061 aluminum billet which is 3D machined including an integral back spacer which includes an integral back spacer concealing a strong compression spring while the bottom of Ad15 knife handle has G10 Scales mated with steel liners via 3D machining.

This is a nice knife. It’s large and heavy though I knew that going in.
I wish the opening action was a bit smoother, but the unique lock design is somewhat limiting of that. It takes some force to open with one hand – people with hand strength issues should either avoid this knife or plan on opening with both hands.
I also wish it was made in the US, but if it cost any more I probably wouldn’t have bought it… at least, it’s made in Taiwan and not China. If it had been made in China I wouldn’t have bought it.
Overall fit n finish is good. I’m keeping it in my rotation.
