This knife set is a great buy, and has a perfect weight for its size. If you are buying this set for a collection, and only throw it a bit, keep in mind that the paint rubs off easily. But if you want to throw it, then this is a great knife to get. It is very well balanced: the balance point is right under the bolster in the middle. It’s not good at all for rope darts, (believe me, I tried it) and it can pop out of targets that are made of stuff like plywood. It is good for rotational and no spin throwing, and the heaviness of the knives helps for long distances. You can attach a ribbon to the hole at the end for practicing, and it is a perfect size (8 1/2 inches) for younger throwers who want a quality knife to practice throwing with. It comes with a sturdy leather sheath that holds all three knives, and can be attached to a belt. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
