The blade came razor sharp out of the box. It was very light and easy to wield. Was trying it out and chopping on wooden planks and it seems to chop pretty well and able to hold its edge better than expected, considering its 2Cr13 SS. However, was disappointed withe the tip. Thrusted into the wooden plank and twisted it a little and the tip just bent!!! Luckily, it is also easy to bent back. In conclusion, the blade is performing well in this price point. But due tot he low end Stainless Steel, you will just feel that it is missing something to make it perfect.
