Very solid knife, thick blade with reasonable quality sheath. I gave it a good hard test in the outdoors. I think it’s well suited as a generalist knife. It may be a bit too short and its cross section too thick for extended chopping work. Wear gloves for sure if you do that. But still there are 1000s of camp and outdoors tasks this knife would be good at.
I replaced all the included paracord with Atwood paracord to improve the appearance and utility. I also clipped the Schrade double-lockback to the pouch. It’s even heavier now but this is more of a car camping or nearby-outdoors knife to me.
Highly recommended if you are interested in the style, look, or functionality. Striker and sharpener seem to be in OK condition and usable. Thanks to Schrade for the great lineup.
