Listed at 3.5″ closed, it is actually 3 3/8″ closed. The blades could have been sharper out of the box, and my knife had some small gaps between the springs. All blades had good strong snap. The overall appearance of the knife is rather plain, but I like the fact that each blade has its own backspring and compartment so there is no blade rub. This is a thick knife with thick blades.
