Great knife, like the half-stops. Solid, and I mean, SOLID construction. This is a BIG pocket knife, not like an old Kamp King or Ulster scout knife. It’s wide, but there’s a lot of solid metal in this thing to back up the hardiest of camp chores. Made a few simple mods: used a Dremel with a sanding drum to open up the handle a bit where the leather punch is, makes it easier to get a small fingernail into the groove. Relieved a tiny bit of metal from the screw driver/cap lifter, where it intersects with the main blade, so to make it easier to get to the main blade fingernail cutout. Other than that, a few strops on my ceramic rods, and it’s razor sharp, and I mean RAZOR sharp. Gotta’ love these old carbon steel blades. It’s now my EDC, replacing a Leatherman Juice.

great knife

I was looking forward to this knife because I knew the quality would be excellent. However, it is exceedingly thick for a 4 blade camp knife. It is as thick as a multi function Swiss Army knife, and thus is not suitable to carry in one’s pocket. Otherwise the quality is excellent.

Excellent fit and finish.
