This knife will amaze you with the attention to detail, fit and finish was impeccable. I was at first very skeptical of this brand but believe me you will not be disappointed. Chicago knife works has a new fan.

For the extra bucks vs Rough Ryder, I expected a product equal to or a little above in quality, but no such luck. Most disappointing was the mushiness in the half-stop on all blades and the roughness on opening and closing on the main blade. Fit and finish were below Rough Ryder and Marble’s usual standards. There was a short but quite noticeable gap on the back between the handle cover and the liner, and a smaller, but still noticeable gap between the handle cover and one of the bolsters. One side of the sheep’s foot blade was bumpy all over. Finally, a personal, political gripe: instead of a “CHINA” stamp, the company has chosen to use “PRC,” which stands for “People’s [not] Republic [not] of China.”
