The Gen III Microtech LUDT (Large Underwater Demolition Team) has undergone several changes and improvements over the past twenty years. The most notable feature is its ultra-smooth, ultra-solid silica carbide ball bearing pivot. This LUDT is the first Microtech automatic knife to feature Microtech’s proprietary Bohler M390MK super steel, which has improved edge retention over conventional M390.
