The Microtech LUDT Gen III T/E Automatic Knife is a modern version of the original UDT knife, with several subtle but significant improvements. It features a Tanto blade with a black finish made from Bohler M390MK steel, which has improved edge retention over conventional M390. The knife also includes a push button opener with a silica carbide ball bearing pivot for smooth, reliable operation.
The handle is made from red aluminum and includes standard Torx hardware with 3M grip inserts for a secure hold. The knife also features a secure button lock that keeps the blade open and closed, and a steel tip-up pocket clip for secure, convenient carry.
