The Gen III Microtech LUDT (Large Underwater Demolition Team) knife has undergone numerous changes and improvements over the past twenty years. Its most notable feature is the ultra-smooth, ultra-solid silica carbide ball bearing pivot. This knife is the first Microtech automatic knife to feature Microtech’s proprietary Bohler M390MK super steel, which has improved edge retention over conventional M390.
