The Microtech LUDT Gen III S/E Automatic Knife is a modern iteration of Microtech’s first knife, the UDT. It is built with powerful automatic action that could fire the blade while underwater. The knife has undergone numerous changes and improvements over the past twenty years, resulting in a product that is both reliable and high-performing.
This LUDT is the first Microtech automatic knife to feature Microtech’s proprietary Bohler M390MK super steel, which has improved edge retention over conventional M390. The knife also features a secure button lock, a push button opener with a silica carbide ball bearing pivot, and an orange aluminum handle with 3M grip inlays and standard Torx hardware.
