The Gen III Microtech Combat Troodon is the best version yet, with significant upgrades and a reduced price. The blade is now Bohler M390MK, Microtech’s proprietary steel; the pocket clip is milled titanium with a ceramic ball; the chassis is styled differently, resulting in improved ergonomics; it has standard Torx hardware for field stripping; and, most significantly, the internals have been stripped and redone, resulting in some of the easiest, smoothest OTF action on the market.
