Used this knife and the Marttiini skinner to field dress and skin all three of my deer this year…only stropping between each deer, with the exception of some light honing with the skinner on a fine diamond briefly because I cut into the hide a bit much on deer two. These are impressive to me given that they are composed of what most would call “cheap steel”. Granted, I kept the edge away from bones and refrained from activity that would dull them, but over-all I was pleased for an inexpensive tool like these. They are still plenty sharp enough for the next deer. Recommend.
