If you need a beast, this is your Cerberus. I have abused mine to chop 4+ Inch branches, prune trees in my back yard, shave bark, make feather sticks, baton, etc.
No matter how hard I hit hard wood with this knife, I haven’t been able to damage the edge at ALL, come back in from hours of chopping, batoning, carving, etc. and it still passes the paper test. One mild chop to the cross grain end of a 4 inch log and it splits 8 inches down. This is my new go to, outdoors knife. It ain’t cheap, but very much worth it!!!
