This has a thick checked wood grip that fills my large hands perfectly. The blade thickness is a good balance of thickness for light weight yet strength. It slices well with a low hollow grind. It has a slightly upswept tip for good penetration. A basic nylon sheath that serves the purpose for belt carry. My high rating is based on the $10 price and for its all around capabilities. I would prefer the knife didn’t have the moose etching in the blade to reduce drag when slicing through materials, but maybe it will wear off anyway. I like this knife more than I thought I would.
