I ordered several knives. I got this one almost as an afterthought, mostly because it was inexpensive and made in Italy, but it turned out to be the best of the lot. It is very substantial and seems to be made of very good materials – brass liners and thick slabs of bubinga wood. I reminds me of the old school knives that my grandfather had years ago when I was a kid. If you like very solid, good-looking traditional knives with a spring that feels like it came out of a leg trap, this one would be a good choice.
